Privacy Policy
Awakeno is a voice alarm app. Your recordings, alarm settings, and schedule stay on your device. We do not run a cloud account or upload your voice clips to our servers.
Data stored on your device
- Voice recordings you create or import
- Alarm titles, times, repeat settings, and on/off state
- Scheduling data needed for alarms to fire
- Optional neural voice clips you generate with Edge TTS
This data lives in the app’s local storage. Uninstalling the app removes it (subject to normal Android uninstall behavior).
Data we do not collect
- Personal profiles or accounts (no sign-in required)
- Contact lists or location history
- Advertising identifiers for our own ads or analytics (Awakeno has no ads)
- Your payment card details
Permissions
- Microphone — to record alarm voices
- Notifications — to show alarm alerts
- Exact alarms / Alarms & reminders — so alarms can ring at the scheduled time, including when the app is closed
- Internet — only when you generate or preview Edge TTS voices, or when you purchase / restore Awakeno Pro
Optional Edge TTS
If you use “Type a voice,” the text you enter is sent to Microsoft’s Edge text-to-speech service to create an audio file on your phone. We do not operate that service and we do not store your text on our servers. You can skip TTS entirely and use microphone recording only.
Purchases
Awakeno Pro is a one-time unlock processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment card details. There are no ads in the free or Pro version.
Home screen widget
The optional home-screen widget shows your next alarm title/time and can toggle that alarm. It reads only data already stored locally by the app.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we add online features later (such as cloud backup), we will update this policy and change the “Last updated” date.
