Pocket QR scans and creates QR codes & barcodes entirely on your device. We do not upload your codes, photos, or contact details to our servers.

Data we do not collect

QR / barcode contents or generated images for our remote storage
Camera frames beyond on-device scanning
Wi‑Fi passwords, contacts, or URLs you type into the app
Account credentials (no sign-in required)

On-device processing & history

Live scan, gallery decode, URL / text / Wi‑Fi / contact QR, styled QR, and batch generate all run locally on your phone. Optional history entries and temporary export files stay in app storage and can be cleared from History or by uninstalling the app.

Permissions

Camera — live QR & barcode scanning only
Internet — ads and in-app purchases only
No broad storage permission — photos and save/share use the system picker and share sheet

Ads and purchases

The free version may show ads via Google AdMob, which can collect device advertising identifiers according to Google’s policies. Pro unlocks are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment card details.
